About Our Center
The Global Center for AI in Mental Health (GCAIMH) is dedicated to pioneering and deploying innovative AI solutions to tackle the mental health challenges faced by underserved communities.
The Center was established through seed funding from SUNY as part of the statewide SUNY STRIVE Artificial Intelligence Strategic Plan. This funding strengthened its recognition and capacity for impactful initiatives, and positioned GCAIMH as a key member of the Innovative Network for SUNY’s Pioneering AI Research and Excellence (INSPIRE) Center. This overarching entity brings together the capabilities and expertise across SUNY campuses to scale AI research, training and collaboration.
The GCAIMH offers a unique opportunity to contribute to the rapidly evolving field of AI in mental health and make a meaningful impact on those who need it most.
